A university in Canada has developed a tablet with a flexible screen that can rolled up. It can be rolled to display a larger screen (7.5” touch screen) and rolled back into a phone(although the size is a little too big). You can be able to scroll to infinitely through on social media
“We were inspired by ancient scrolls because their form allows for a more natural, uninterrupted experience of long visual timelines.” says Dr Roel Vertegaal.
“Eventually, our hope is to design the device so that it can even roll into something as small as a pen that you could carry in your shirt pocket.” Dr. Vertegaal added.
Meanwhile, major technology brands are racing to be the first to bring such flexible technology to the market like Samsung while the Chinese firm Huawei is hoping to beat them to it.
