It may seem like only yesterday (or a couple of months ago) that Acer was rolling out its very first Timeline laptops to much fanfare, but it's now already turned things around and kicked out a whole new addition to the line-up: the 8000 series. Apparently aimed at both business users and average folk, this one will be available in 13.3-, 14- and 15.6-inch variations, and pack the usual Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Solo ULV processors, 4GB or 8GB of RAM, a 160GB or 500GB hard drive (or even an 80GB Intel X25-M SSD, for those looking to go all out), and either some basic Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics or a ATI's 4330 dedicated GPU -- not to mention some bonuses like a multitouch trackpad and optional 3G (at a later date, it seems). No word on pricing or availability just yet, but it seems safe to bet that at least the entry-level models will be sub-$1000, if the current Timelines are any indication.
Aspire Timeline Series notebooks are slim and light, measuring only 1" at the thinnest point. The energy-conscious Timeline notebooks feature lower power consumption for long-lasting and energy-efficient portability, and range from an ultra-light 1.6kg (3.5lb) for the 13.3" 3810T model, 1.9kg (4.2 lb) for the 14" 4810T model, and just 2.4kg (5.3lb) for the 15.6" 5810T model, making them both lighter and easier to carry around than anything comparable. The Timeline notebooks pack at least 8 hours of earth-friendly battery life and are available at a very affordable price tag.
The first Aspire One netbooks debuted at Computex 2008, and this year Acer is showcasing its full range of netbook offerings targeting different mobile consumer needs. The Aspire One 751 Series is the company's first 11.6" netbook with a full-size keyboard for easy typing even for touch typists. Consumers can watch high-definition content on the large LED-backlit display (16:9 ratio, 1366 x 768 pixel resolution), and enjoy 5.1-channel audio with Dolby® Headphone. The extended 6-cell battery for the AO751 can provide uptime of up to 81 hours.
Meanwhile, the next generation 10.1" Aspire One netbooks -- the AO531 and AOD250 -- are thinner and lighter than their predecessor, and ideal for anyone on the move. These groundbreaking advancements usher in the new netbook generation for long lasting fun and productivity on the road.
For the generation that has grown up with the Internet and can find just about anything online, the new Dell Studio 14z laptop makes it easy to carry their digital world with them. Designed for students and others on the go who demand the perfect balance of mobility and performance, the Studio 14z is a homework-busting system by day and an entertainment powerhouse by night.
It features a svelte design and a huge 500GB* hard drive option that can store up to 125,000 songs, 142,000 photos or 133 DVD quality movies*. The Studio 14z allows people to watch their favorite movies and TV shows, listen to streaming music with friends, store a vast MP3 collection and socially network from just about anywhere*.
The Studio 14z is the industry’s first consumer laptop available with FailSafe™ theft prevention. This option helps protect personal data should the laptop go missing or be stolen. With FailSafe engaged, owners can track network information and the ISP location of the laptop when it connects to the Internet, and get help to remotely erase selected files and render the laptop unusable until the rightful owner unlocks it.
“Young people have grown up with the Internet and can find almost everything they need online.” said Michael Tatelman, vice president of Dell’s global consumer sales and marketing. “They want a slim, easy-to-carry laptop and like the choice of a larger hard drive over an optical drive. The Studio 14z has the storage and speed that most people need, and it comes with color options that let them truly express who they are.”
The Studio 14z comes in six colors: Black Chain Link, Midnight Blue, Spring Green, Plum Purple, Ruby Red and Promise Pink (U.S. only). Dell will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® from the purchase of each Promise Pink laptop.
The new laptop also comes with Dell Remote Access*; the optional premium version allows people to access content via their home network of personal computing devices including desktops, laptops, ultra-mobile devices, smart phones and web cameras.
Priced from $649 U.S., the Studio 14z is available now online and over the phone in the U.S. and Canada.

For those who love fancy life style and enjoy the showbiz world then technology has just provided you one. A 4GB memory golden bar USB measuring only 55 x 23 x 12mm and weighing just 45g, the gold bar USB drive is an eye-candy made in metal with all high-speed USB 2.0 facets.
The Gold Bar USB Drive has all of 4GB of memory. To hold to that gold bar look, they made it so that the USB drive actually retracts within the gold bar. That also means this is one of the good drives that makes it so that you never have to worry about losing the cap to the USB drive. It’s not made of real gold, which I would think is fairly obvious. Instead it’s built with metal housing surrounding it to keep your data safe and at hand. You can purchase it for $27 through USB Geek.

Just imagine a long day full of stress and the only thing you want to do is drive back home listening to nice music all coming from iPod directly connected to your car radio. iPod make life easy.
On the road.Let your iPod drive your car?s sound system. Listen to and control your iPod in your car just as you would a CD. The factory stereos in most new vehicles have an MP3 input jack. Just connect your iPod and suddenly your cabin is filled with whatever is playing on your iPod.
Connecting your iPod to your car is just as easy as connecting it to your computer. Many newer vehicles with iPod-ready audio systems use a 30-pin connector cable similar to the one that connects an iPod to your computer.
Once connected, your iPod is quickly recognized by your car audio system and added as an audio source.
Audio systems in many newer vehicles have taken a cue from iPod and make it easy to find the right song or audiobook. Browse through on-screen menus to see playlists, artists, albums, even genres and composers.
