Research In Motion unveiled a new BlackBerry smartphone called Blackberry Torch.
The Torch 9800 features a touchscreen and sliding keyboard - the first in the Blackberry portfolio - and comes with 4GB of memory and a five megapixel camera.
The new Blackberry Torch uses a new operating system and has a faster and easier-to-use Web browser as confirmed RIM.
The new BlackBerry 6 operating system integrates access to social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter with its BlackBerry Messenger service.

"This is one of the most important product introductions in our history. It's a really special product because so much new goodness has been added to it." said Mike Lazaridis, RIM's president and co-chief executive.
According to the vice president Rob Orr, the making of Blackberry Torch is to make Blackberry experience better.
The BlackBerry Torch will go on sale in the United States on 12th/August for $199.99 with a two-year contract with AT&T Inc and September to the rest of world
